Gag Me With A Hippy

Kumbaya, group hug, utopian hippy think did not die with the 1970’s, it just took a desperately needed bath and got a hair cut (I’ve little room to speak on hair cut’s… I hate hair cuts and typically only cut my hair once or twice a year. Even when I do get a hair cut it is usually only because my wife has complained sufficiently).

No, it is not dead.

The message and it’s delivery has been refined and passed on continuously since the first hippy realized he needed to be taken seriously.

The typical message they deliver is, however, so ridiculous that the only way it and they can be taken seriously is to transfer it by way of fear and indoctrination. And so it has been since the first hippy realized he needed a job and figured out a way to make use of capitalism, which he supposedly hates so much, to make money while still maintaining his superior sense of self.

A new commercial promoting the United Nations Convention on Climate Change is the newest, best example of such… not with standing the numerous Obama indoctrination videos we’ve seen in the past months.

The commercial from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is dripping with impending doom with the slightest bit of hope sprinkled on top. That sprinkling of hope being Barack Obama himself.

The damnable hippies of tomorrow are the children of today.

I sometimes wonder what are we conservatives doing to counter messages such as the one below which was not only delivered to but by Americas children.

The Left is targets not only the hearts and minds of their children (which stands to reason) but the hearts and minds of your children as well.
